Paige I think what people get misconstrued is that you built a strong community and friendships in London so of course its going to comes off as you being happier according to some folks. Wouldn’t they come off happier if they had a strong support system?absolutely! So it’s not London per se but the strong community. Plus London, the UK, and US are completely different cultures people need to understand that. Anyways I’m going on a tangent. You do you and what’s best for you. I know your husseling and focusing on your new job and or career, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you vlog around Chicago and different places and cities in the US you decide to visit.

I hate that you have to be subjected to other people's thoughts about this, but I appreciate you sharing this. I moved back to Chicago, my hometown, after living in NYC, and I used to question whether I was happier there. It took some time for me to reconcile if I was actually happier there or if it was just a different season in my life, but this has helped me realize that it really was time to move on and make the changes required to get the other things I said I wanted. Thank you for sharing and I hope this era brings exactly what you need and desire!

Paige you were only 26 when you decided to move to london.that in itself took courage but you did it! Now you are back home working and sorting out your life because you know how you want it to be! Ignore the comments, it is sad nowadays people are so focused on thinking and making decisions for others. You know what is best for you and others need to accept that chapters can close. There are great new adventures ahead of you, focus on that 😊.

I started exploring London and Europe later in life (I’m of your mother’s generation) and I can say I LOVE London for it’s architecturall beauty, parks, history and people. But I’m at that point in my life and career to enjoy the best of London and I think that makes a world of difference. Your London experience mirrors my Paris (and NYC) experience. I was clearly happier in these places because I could easily find my 'people'. I have moved on to a new east coast American city which is lovely, but it isn't Paris or New York. I am in a better place in many aspects of my current life (educationally, financially, spiritually), but my present will never give me the bang that those global megalopolises did and still do to this day. All in all, I am at peace with my life now and still have the privilege to travel to both cities based on proximity to NYC via train and my career as a professor of French which constantly provides opportunities to visit Paris or any francophone location for that matter. I think what London did was start your path of living your happiness. Our lives are always evolving as we grow. London was your journey to find you and set you up with the courage to always live life true and to lead with your heart. I always remember you saying you were crying in your work bathroom as you felt frustrated and stagnant. Like you say in this video, your chapter in London was lived. That's the beauty of life. I can't wait to visit London I love traveling I really wanna have time to go spend awhile in Europe just traveling around to different countries explore life is about adventure and having fun not just work wherever you find happiness it's where you stay doesn't matter what people want for you this is you're life not ours I stayed on a job nearly ten year's I was misreable for four of those year's but it was comfortable and familiar that's no way to live we get one life we gotta step out our comfort zones try new things you never know what blessings lay in wait if we never leave places to try new things ❤
